Some people come into our lives and quickly go..... Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts..... and we are never, ever the same.

Remembering Tom
Tonight, 6/24/09, I'm remembering my son-in-law Tom who passed away, suddenly, three years ago. That's Tom in the lower right bottom of the picture. The photo was taken at a birthday celebration for my Mom (I think her 70th). I love the picture because everyone is smiling and looooking gooood! The others in the picture, front row: grandson Zack, daughter-in-law Laurel and of course Tom. Second row: my sisiter Maureen, Mom, youngest daughter Stacy, me, first daughter Diane (Tom's wife) and granddaughter Nicole who is fascinated with Uncle Tom's hair. Third row: Third daughter Debbie, son-in-law Bob (married to Donna and dad to Zack and Nicole), my son Greg (married to Laurel who is expecting Jessica) and second daughter Donna. What a great celebration that was. Tom you are in my thoughts and prayers. You are not forgotten and are truly missed by the family. Yours in peace, Mom.

This picture was taken June 5th, prom night, with my handsome grandson and First Place Track Star winner (his first competition, just started track) Davey. He not only looked handsome but was very obliging in allowing us to take lots of pictures. Love you Dave!!!!! One more year to go to graduation.
This was fun playing with the new video cam. Now if we could just figure out how to video chat (the real purpose for buying the video cam). I'm hoping to find someone who has a cam on their computer so we can chat. The children use the built in camera on the laptop and video chat with their friends. Doesn't Anita's image look awesome! Let me know if you have the video chat option and we'll give it a try.
A blast from the past. That's me, the one in the back row, third from the left. We formed the "Earth Angels" when we were in high school. We sadly lost one of our members just recently. Her sister having left us several years ago. The Houck sisters will be fondly remembered. Wish we had had the chance to visit in the past year. Just a reminder to everyone, keep in touch with your friends and family, all those that you love. You never know when they will leave and you will be left with a hole in your heart. I'm posting this picture in honor of the two friends that I lost and to honor those of us who are still with us.
