Still early in the season for an umbrella filled beach here on the east coast. Still, it was great to put our feet in the sand and enjoy the sunshine. Later in the day, we attempted a walk on the boardwalk but, it got windy and chilly so we headed home. The water, of course, was freezing. I didn't even put my tootsies in. Took a hint from a couple of kids who braved the icy water.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go..... Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts..... and we are never, ever the same.

Roxanne's last show at Hammonton High-She's a senior!
This is my granddaughter Roxanne dancing in her senior play (everyone says she looks like me). I drove down to see her in Hammonton, NJ, the night that the severe storm was ending 3/13/10. I was detoured at least seven times on the way there due to flooding, downed wires and downed trees, and arrived late. But, I did not want to miss Roxy's last high school performance. She didn't disappoint. You rock Roxy!!!!!! Her mom commented later, back at the house, that Rox looks either like me or her dad in drag. Her dad is my son Greg.
