Smithville Village on Way Home to Princeton with Maureen 10/9/10
Maureen was hoping to see some Fall color. We found some at Batsto Village on our way home and after we left Smithville Village. Took a quick walk around the village, rested a bit, stretched our legs. This would make a nice day trip with the kids.

We just happened to be riding by Smithville Village and noticed that their was an Irish Festival going on. And, funny thing, I was wearing my Irish shirt with the shamrock on it. Hot, hot day but, it was fun to check out the village aaaaand, the nice legs on the bagpipers. HaHa
Love this shot of the warf taken from the bridge that crosses over the lake. We found a bakery with some really good pastries and a cheese shop too.
Irish band.
There's a train that you can ride but, it was out of commission. I was bummed 'cause I like the trains. Just like the one at Look Park in Northampton, MA. There was also an Irish dance competition but, it was too hot to hang out and they were taking a really long intermission.
Neat old barn.
Don't know if this is operational. HaHa
