Some people come into our lives and quickly go..... Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts..... and we are never, ever the same.

My Sister Maureen Arrives in NJ 10/7/10
Maureen arrived in NJ to attend her 50th High School Reunion. I picked her up at AC airport and we went into AC for a couple of nights stay compliments of Adrienne, my niece and Maureen's daughter. When we opened the drapes to our suite we were greeted with this sunset.
I love the balcony outside the bedroom at the suite. We stayed at this same hotel two years ago when Maureen came up for her birthday. I love to sit out there and watch the lights of AC at night.

These strange looking things were given to us at the Thai restaurant where we went for dinner. We didn't know what they were. We thought the waitress said they were soy. Then we decided they might be a pear from Vietnam. We brought them home and Anita said, "Oh those are used for eyeballs on halloween. Chefs use them. They're a fruit from Asia". Little missy watches cooking shows and has a wealth of information. Who knew. She's always telling us about food stuff.
Lucy the Elephant in Margate, NJ. This elephant used to be on the beach. I first saw it when I was 11 yrs. old when our family traveled to AC from MA. She's a National Historic Monument.
