This sign was turning around in a circle, being lit from up above. It was hard to capture the word while it was moving.
Here's the sign as it looks without the flash.
Body painting. The peacock feathers were awesome.
This gal was also having her body painted. I loved her wig. Below, a little sampling of art work.
Antonio in front of a very strong fan meant to cool the area. Very, very hot that night. Fan didn't do much for cooling but, blew with a lot of strength.
Another flamingo. They keep popping up everywhere. Last seen at Princeton U. P-Rade.
My reflection is in the glass. Farnsworth Ave. in Bordentown during a snow storm.
The idea of "Art All Night" is a good one. Right idea, wrong city. Having it in Trenton at night; Good idea? NOT!!!!! After parking on S. Broad St. we crossed the street from the parking lot right in front of a drug and prostitute house. Many of its occupants standing outside as we passed by. Drinks and drugs in hand. Then, as the evening progressed, it became clear that it was a drinking hangout for many attendees of the art show. Lots of drinking going on. It didn't help that it was very hot that evening. Not sure I would attend again. Maybe in the daytime but, still questionable. A better location would help. Certainly downtown Trenton would be out.
After viewing the artwork, I came to the conclusion that nothing "wowed" me. There were some pieces that I liked a lot, over most. To be fair, perhaps if it hadn't been so hot and so crowded and, if there weren't so many drunks roaming around. Then I might have enjoyed it more. Kudos to the artists for the variety of works on display.
